  • Payment Information: Billing details processed through our third-party payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full payment card numbers.

  • Pre-Registration Data: Name, email, and excitement preference submitted during pre-registration.

  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, time spent, click patterns, and interaction data.
  • Device Information: Browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and screen resolution.
  • Log Data: IP address, access times, referring URLs, and error logs.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including AI-powered resume generation and optimization.
  • Process your resume data through our AI models to generate optimized content, ATS scores, and career recommendations.
  • Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password resets, promo codes).
  • Send marketing communications (only with your consent; you may opt out at any time).
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse.

3. AI Data Processing

Our AI assistants (Dakota and August) process your resume data to provide optimization suggestions. Your personal data is processed in accordance with this policy and is never used to train general-purpose AI models. Your resume content is processed in real-time and is not retained beyond what is necessary to provide the Service.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Service Providers: Hosting (Vercel), payment processing (Stripe), email delivery (Resend), and analytics providers who assist in operating the Service.
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to affected users.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting privacy@altyr.ai. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS 1.3), encryption at rest (AES-256), access controls, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
