1. Permitted Use

The Service is intended for:

• Creating and optimizing your own professional resumes and cover letters.
• Using AI-generated suggestions to improve your career documents.
• Managing your career portfolio and tracking application metrics.
• Exporting documents for legitimate job application purposes.

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Service to:

• Create Fraudulent Documents: Generate resumes or cover letters containing false information, fabricated credentials, degrees, certifications, or work history.
• Impersonate Others: Create documents on behalf of another person without their explicit consent, or represent yourself as someone else.
• Engage in Illegal Activity: Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law.
• Abuse AI Systems: Attempt to manipulate, exploit, or reverse-engineer our AI models, or use prompt injection to extract training data or system instructions.
• Generate Harmful Content: Use the Service to create content that is discriminatory, defamatory, threatening, harassing, or promotes violence.
• Mass Generation: Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to generate documents at scale for commercial resale or distribution.
• Violate Intellectual Property: Upload copyrighted content belonging to others without authorization, or use our templates for unauthorized commercial purposes.
• Circumvent Security: Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, our systems, or our data infrastructure.

3. Content Standards

All content you create or upload through the Service must:

• Be truthful and accurately represent your qualifications and experience.
• Not contain malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
• Not include sensitive personal data of third parties (social security numbers, financial account numbers, etc.).
• Comply with all applicable professional and industry regulations.

4. Fair Usage Limits

To ensure quality service for all users, we may implement fair usage limits on API calls, document generation, and AI processing requests. These limits are documented in your plan details and may be adjusted with notice.

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to abuse@altyr.ai. We investigate all reports and take appropriate action.

6. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate violations and take appropriate action, which may include:

• Issuing a warning.
• Temporarily suspending your account.
• Permanently terminating your account.
• Reporting illegal activity to law enforcement authorities.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking action, except in cases requiring immediate response to protect the Service or other users.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
